Transgrowth Director
Transgrowth was founded by Michal Papegaaij.
Michal Papegaaij was born in Haifa, Israel, in 1958.
She studied Physics and Mathematics at the Technical Institute in Haifa, in a special program parallel to her High School studies.
From 1975 till 1978 she followed a BA double major program in Psychology and Sociology/Anthropology at the University of Haifa.
During her studies she worked for a special educational program, working with individuals and groups, guiding and counselling juvenile delinquents and street gangs.
From 1979 till 1981 she served in the Israeli army (2 years compulsory service). During that time she functioned as chief organisational staff officer of a large educational army base and was a designer, organiser and personal supervision and guidance officer for a large correctional/educational project with hundreds of soldiers under her responsibility, personally representing the Head Chief of the combined Staffs of the Israeli Army, Navy and Air Force.
After being discharged from the army, she lived for a year on her own in the Sinai desert. Following a year of travelling through Europe, she settled in Amsterdam, where she studied a wide range of holistic modalities and human potential development systems, programs and methodologies.
In 1990 Michal started her own practice and later her own school for human potential development. She has worked extensively with groups and individuals, presenting various courses, workshops and training-programs. In those years Michal also coached and supervised various professionals, specialising in guiding leaders (corporate world and Defence forces) and personal growth and health care professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, practitioners) working with individuals and groups.
After moving to Australia in 1999, together with her husband Bard, Michal founded Transgrowth, and has been working as consultant/trainer/coach, developing, designing and presenting specialised programs for the corporate world. She has been advising management teams of multi-nationals in various places in Europe and the Middle-East as well as businesses in regional Australia. In addition she has presented talks, workshops and seminars in the private sector.

- emotional intelligence consulting accreditation (Daniel Goleman model, Haygroup®);
- Cognitive Edge® facilitator accreditation;
- specialisation in adult learning, accelerated learning and training/coaching design;
- a toolkit integrating dozens of systems, approaches and modalities from both the corporate world and the field of human potential development.
